Description: A large part of the University’s goals for it’s Athletic program is to continue to improve it’s Basketball Team to be a major player on the national stage. An important part of the plan was to house their team in a dedicated state of the art, standalone facility, so that their practices would remain uninterrupted by other events that may be taking place in the Bank United center.

This new facility is a LEED certified project, meeting the University’s goals for sustainability and energy efficient design. The facility underwent a stringent LEED commissioning project that is to set the standard for future construction at the University. Furthermore, the facility contains high-end custom dehumidification systems that are capable of adapting to the demands of a high end athletic facility with varying occupancy.
