6/3/11 - Arellano Construction and HCA select Tropic Mechanical to complete Mechanical and Plumbing work at new 10th floor expansion at Aventura Hospital and Medical Center.

5/1/11 - Tropic selected to complete the renovation of Florida Turnpike Service Plazas by Stride Construction.

3/15/11 - New Baptist Medical Plaza in Coral Gables is open for business. Tropic Mechanical team helped Arellano Construction turn the project in on time and under budget.

2/2/11 - Tropic Completes University of Miami Hospital’s 4th floor Bone Marrow Transplant expansion.

11/30/10 - TKendall Regional Medical Center taps Tropic Mechanical to execute the M & P work for new 4th floor buildout.

8/25/10 - Hispanic Business names Tropic Mechanical Contractors as #23 on its “Top 100 Fastest Growing Hispanic Companies” from 2005 to 2009. Tropic’s growth of 238% is good enough to rank it as first among specialty contractors in the entire state. We thank all of our loyal customers for their loyal support.

8/25/10 - We look forward to seeing you at 2010 AHCA 26th Annual Seminar in Orlando, FL. The conference takes place from Sept 19th to the 21st at the Peabody Hotel. The AHCA Seminar gathers all the players in the state’s Health Care Construction, Design and Facilities Maintenance industry.

7/20/10 - New Memorial Hospital West Bed Tower Addition awarded to Tropic Mechanical. Due to the high profile nature of the project and it’s location at the entrance to one of Memorial’s premier properties. Tropic’s expertise was paramount in our being selected by ANF Group to handle the Mechanical portion of the project.

7/9/10 – Tropic Selected for Steam Line Upgrades project at UM Medical Campus. This fast track project will be essential to feeding the properties at the center of the Medical Campus. Extensive coordination will be required as this will be occurring in one of the busiest portions of the campus and all of the work is underground.

4/15/10 – Tropic Awarded Newest Baptist Medical Plaza in Coral Gables. These Outpatient Clinics are at the heart of the Baptist’s Long Term strategy. This centrally located facility will help serve the immediate Healthcare needs of the Coral Gables Community

4/12/10 – Tropic Awarded New Outpatient OR Expansion at University of Miami Hospital.
